The
following are praise and prayer items for January to March 2012
- Thank the Lord for the nine
years Rev. Prof. Zamani Kafang was the provost at the Seminary. He
is still lecturing at the Seminary.
- Pray for Rev. Dr. Sunday Agang
who is the new provost of the seminary.
- A donor has started building
a conference hall at the Seminary. The foundation has been laid
and blocks moulded for the walls. It is hoped this building will be
complete by the time of the graduation in late 2012. Pray this goal
will be
reached.
- Continue to pray for the
teachers who are taking further study at present. Both pastor Momolu
and Mr Gambo are working on Ph.D.s in New Testament at the Baptist
Seminary at Ogbomosho and at the University of Jos respectively. Also,
Mr Reuben Turbi has started Ph.D. studies at the ECWA Theological
Seminary at Jos.
- Praise the Lord Rev. Dr.
Gabriel
Olaniyan has joined the seminary faculty. He has a Ph.D. in Christian
Education and will especially strengthen the education department. This
is an answer to prayer.
- Remember the students who
returned for study in January. Pray that they will be able to pay their fees.
- Pray for David and Debbie
Colvin who are back in the UK on home assignment with SIM until August
2012.
- Pray for a good semester. Classes started on 16th January.
